Welcome back to the niche investment strategies panel. Here, our family office club
member Nadab breaks down why an authenticity is everything in capital raising and how
our investors instantly sense when it's missing.
Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Nidab Uckther or Niddy, as my friends call me.
I am founder and managing partner of Excite Capital, a quantitative trading fund that
uses predictive AI to model markets and manage risk dynamically. I'm also the co
-founder and president of CrowdPoint, which is an advanced software development company
that builds quantum computing and artificial intelligence infrastructure for the energy
management and distributed computing sectors. What I have found is a special and
unique, I should say special and unique to me versus other entrepreneurs that I've
encountered is maybe it's my cultural background or my entrepreneurial background in
restaurants and bars, but approaching capital raise with the perspective and
appreciation for hospitality, inviting people over prospective investors to my home,
having home cooked meals, remembering things like their birthdays, their their
birthdays, their dog's name, if their kids are going off to college, remembering
those, but doing it in a manner that is not obtuse, right? You have to do it in
a genuine manner because people smell through bullshit, right? The stench is pretty
strong. So you have to be really genuine about it. And if you're not, it's okay.
You know, if your MO is being transactional, own that, right? But you have to be
genuine to your truth and your values. Investors see through that. Thank you.
Absolutely.
