Hey everyone, Richard Wilson here from the Family Office Club. I started this investor club back in 2007, so it's been about 17 or 18 years, depending on when you're watching this video. We get asked the same questions over and over again—literally thousands of times. So, I decided to survey my team and narrow it down to the top five questions we receive the most. We've added these to our website, but I also wanted to create a short video to address them. I’ll do my best to keep this video between four to seven minutes, and I’m sure it will answer at least one question you might have about our Investor Club.
First question: "Can I join your investor community for free and pay you later after I raise capital, close a deal, or pay you a commission on the capital raised? I’m short on capital right now, and if I had the extra funds for membership, I probably wouldn’t need to raise capital in the first place."
We get this question quite often. However, the reality is that we're not a capital introduction firm, placement agent, or membership-based. While we understand the importance of aligning parties in business—just like a salesperson is incentivized to make sales—our alignment comes from providing you value. Our initial membership gives you access to four months of our live events, which costs about the same as attending just one high-quality investment conference. You’re essentially getting two or three events for the price of one. After that, you’re on a month-to-month membership that you can cancel at any time if you’re not finding value from our events.
If we don’t deliver exceptional value, we lose you as a member—that’s our real incentive. Currently, we have about 800 paying members who stay with us because they find value in what we provide. If you'd like to evaluate whether we offer value before committing, check out our YouTube channel. We have over a million subscribers and more than 1,000 videos available. I recommend watching 30 to 60 minutes of our $100 Million Rainmaker mini-series on our YouTube channel (CentimillionaireAdvisors) under the playlist section. After that, I believe you’ll have no doubt that joining our Investor Club is worth it.
Second question: "Can I buy a ticket to a single event if I’m a member, or do I still have to purchase tickets?"
We actually don’t sell tickets to our events, so if you’re a member, you don’t need to buy additional tickets. Your membership includes access to all our in-person events, our investor profiles in the mobile app investor portal, and the ability to attend or livestream any of our 16 in-person events. If you'd like to add a second person to your membership, you can do so at a discounted rate. However, the membership is for one person only.
Our members typically attend two to four events per year, as they’re usually founders, investment professionals, heads of investor relations, and capital raisers who are busy with their own ventures. But you're welcome to attend as many events as you'd like. The membership portal is also a great resource; it’s Netflix-like, where you can stream investor interviews, talks on stage, fireside chats, and more at your own convenience.
Third question: "Do you have investors that invest in X? For example, do you have investors who invest in fintech, healthcare startups, self-storage, etc.?"
Yes, the answer is likely yes. Our club has over 7,500 investors, and we have investors who specialize in many different industries. However, it’s important to understand that our investors typically invest based on trust and understanding. They don’t just invest in industries with the highest returns; they invest in deals and people they trust. If you’re local to them or have a unique edge, they’re more likely to invest.
For example, we have an investor who’s had exits in manufacturing, technology, auto dealerships, and real estate—but I’ve never asked them if they want to invest in a fintech startup. The key to getting their attention is trust, a compelling offer, and a unique angle. Most of our investors are founders who’ve scaled businesses to seven figures or have had exits. They evaluate your team and how you operate as a founder.
If you're raising capital for something in a niche you’re unsure about, we can still help. We can assist you with fixing the three key mistakes that nearly every founder makes on their pitch deck—mistakes that cost nothing to fix but that every investor wants to see.
Fourth question: "How do I de-risk the decision to join the membership? Do you guarantee results?"
Our most powerful asset is our ethical reputation, and that’s something we work hard to maintain. Our track record in the space speaks for itself. Over the years, I’ve interviewed influential figures like Tony Robbins, Mark Cuban, Tim Draper, Mike Tyson, Jeff Hoffman, and many others. We’ve also interviewed over 41 billionaires and hosted over 2,000 speakers at our events.
We’ve written 13 books, produced over 3,000 videos, and amassed a huge library of content. Our YouTube channel, “Centimillionaire Strategies,” has over a million subscribers, and we’re the largest social media network of any investor club globally. With over 16 million social media followers, we are the largest by a factor of 10.
To further verify our credibility, we own websites like FamilyOffices.com, InvestorClub.com, Billionaires.com, and CapitalRaising.com. We're constantly reinvesting into our business to improve our in-person events. We have over 300 written and video testimonials from billionaires, fund managers, small investors, and startups—people who have raised capital and experienced success through our network.
Fifth question: "Can you make introductions to investors once I join, or will you set up meetings for me?"
Many groups in the industry charge between $30,000 to $50,000 just for introductions, but that’s not how we operate. Our membership, at the time of this recording, costs about $3,000 and gives you access to four months of our events and our investor portal. While we don’t set up introductions or do a roadshow for you, our portal has over 1,000 investors, and we have proven strategies that work, which we’ve used ourselves.
As a member, you can request contact details from any investor you meet at our events or find in the portal. We’re here to help you improve your investor relations, capital raising abilities, due diligence, deal structuring, and scaling strategies as a founder.
